I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas weekend, we sure did! We crawled into bed Christmas Eve with leftover snowy roads. When we woke, a winter wonderland greeted us! My 20 month old daughter Blakeley, absolutely loves the snow and was eager to go outside. I grabbed a blanket, we all threw on some boots and ran out to our backyard! All of our family is in Hawaii, so we decided to snap a picture to share via Facebook! It amazes me that my daughter knows how to cheese for the camera! It makes photos look heck of a lot cuter!
We then went back inside, made a cup of hot chocolate and began to unwrap presents. The older I get, the more I find that it's not the presents that make Christmas special, it's the people that surround you that do. Being my daughters second Christmas, we definitely had a lot more fun this year! She ripped open presents, and screamed with excitement when she realized how much fun her new toys would be! We had a blast this Christmas, lounging around the house and really just spending quality time together. I'm excited now that we have a family, we can create traditions of our own!
